My Mom passed away this month - on her 98th birthday. In the 1970s, after raising 5 kids, she became involved in the local women's center that was forming in our area - eventually becoming a powerful grassroots advocate for victims of Domestic Violence and their children (as well as becoming the first Executive Director of the shelter she helped to create). I spotted this shirt just after her death - and just before my younger sister's birthday. So I bought us each one. I would wear this EVERY DAY if I could! Thank you so much for helping me to find the perfect way to honor my amazing mother.

I bought this shirt and the matching "and my daughter" shirt. Both were really high quality, heavy material. I liked that the shirts fit loosely but still have a longer torso, as opposed to some women's shirts that are cut like big squares and just get wider as you size up.
